This bag is recommended for a variety of uses including school camps, overnight at beds without mattresses, as a double blanket (open it up and sleep under it), as a padding, one person can sleep on 2 layers or 2 persons can sleep on one layer (opened up) and much more. Works great with or without a pillow, as the top part of the hood has more cotton fill that can act as a pillow to support your head.
