Atwood's Glow in the Dark Paracord has a special outer shell with nylon core threads. It has a kernmantle construction with an outer sheath (32 strand wooven) and 7 inner strands. These inner strands can be removed from the outer sheath for use in a variety of survival situations. It is able to glow up to 4 hours after being exposed to light, making it highly useful in poor light situations where seeing your cord helps alot.
