Hi,

The section is to address some common questions and perhaps some not so common ones as well about us.

1. How much is delivery and how long do you take to deliver?

Deliveries are absolutely free within Singapore! We have no minimum order.
You may also arrange for a pick-up at one of these 3 MRT Stations:

  1. Potong Pasir MRT Station (Exit B or drop-off and pick-up point at Exit B)
  2. Kallang MRT Station (Exit A or at Car Park opposite Exit A)
  3. Toa Payoh MRT Station (Exit D)

You may choose the self-collect option, if you find the delivery timing too long. Deliveries can be arranged on the same day as receipt of order and up to 3 weeks later. We usually deliver in person, but if payment method is not COD and payment is already made, we may employ Singpost to fulfil the delivery.

If you are an overseas buyer, simply give us your address and paypal registered email and we will figure out the shipping cost, after which, we will send you a payment request via PayPal. Pay and the item will be shipped. All overseas shipment via registered national postal systems.

2. Do you have an address we can come to view products?

We are a 100% online business and not a shop. Maybe in the future we will have a shop, and if we do, we will announce it! But at the moment we have no plans. Most of our inventory is stored in a building along Kallang Way. So if you simply want to view the products, you can either make an arrangement to see it at Kallang Way, your location or any other location. Viewing of knives will only be done in a location out of public eye.

3. Do you have stock of items?

Loosely you could consider that we have 2 types of items, China stuff (things like solid fuel, ponchos, etc) and branded stuff (things like Cold Steel Knives or Coleman Sleeping bags). For China stuff, the availability of stock is not frequently updated. Hence we will inform you upon order. For the branded goods, we have a category called 'Out of Stock'. You may order from here but the date of delivery will most likely be months away. If we do not intend to bring in the items anymore, they will be delisted from the website.

4. What is your pricing like?

In Singapore (and probably in Malaysia and Indonesia), we are definitely the most price-competitive business. You should do your own survey if you are interested in getting these kind of items at the best price. But basically this is the formula we follow:

MRSP (Manufacturer's Recommended Selling Price)(in USD) x 1.3 (Given SGD to USD exchange rate) x 1.07 (GST) and rounded up to the nearest dollar for items above $20. So a few brands that do publish their MRSP include Cold Steel, Buck knives and CRKT. Feel free to do your comparison of our prices on their sites.

Also do free to do your own price surveys with Singapore businesses. In general we sell the same goods (branded stuff) for 20% to 30% less than our competitors. So you could check out army market or there is another online seller as well, that allows for easy comparison. The China stuff is around the same pricing, but minus the cost of travel to army market (parking, bus, waiting time) and minus the touting.

In addition we have our weekly discount that offers great value frequently and a 20% discount available to all buyers (conditions apply). So you should ask yourself, why pay more?

5. What range of goods do you carry?

We carry mainly camping equipment. This would include stuff like tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, knives, binoculars and flash lights. We have a fairly wide variety of brands, including some more familiar brands like Maglite torch lights, Coleman, Cold Steel knives, Leatherman multi-tools, Gerber cutting tools, Nikon binoculars to less common brands in Singapore like  Eureka tents, Buck knives, Bushnell binoculars, Drago Gear side packs and Coghlan's camping accessories.

In general, camping equipment would loosely cover hunting equipment as well and some tactical equipment as well. Our buyers would be anyone who simply wants to camp at East Coast to someone looking to climb mountains to jungle survival training.

6. Do you provide any services?

Yes we do provide a few services. At the moment, we can do silk screening or embroidery services. In general, you could consider the pricing for a T-shirt or polo-T to be around $15 - $20 a piece for small quantities (less than 50 pieces). Of course the more you make, the better the pricing will be.

We also offer training services for organisations in areas such as camping and outdoor skills training (eg. orienteering or survival skills training).

Do contact us directly for more information.

7. Why do you publish information on outdoor skills?

I think that we try to share information with people so that they would be able to have a better experience doing outdoor activities. Hence we publish information that we believe is useful and hope you find them useful too.
